“So when painting a sunset Plein Air from the boat I have to anticipate what I think it will be for that 15 minutes of spectacular setting…and last night there was a beautiful turquoise color I did not anticipate and the sun’s reflection was more narrow. Finally the painting fell over and my knuckle smudged the horizon. So I touched it up in the morning. Should I have left it alone? Turquoise is the revised painting. ”– THRoberts
